WEDDING PLANNING WITH KAYLA | SUITS UNLIMITED

Friends! I’ve been there. I’ve wedding planned. I know what it feels like to sit there with the world’s longest to-do list, and have no idea where to start. So, here, on my little corner of the internet, I’m sharing all my favs. Vendors, venues, planning tips, and more. Come hang for awhile!

THIS WEEK:

SUITS UNLIMITED

“We love working with brides and grooms and making the menswear part of their wedding planning journey an easy one.  We want them to feel like family when they come in and try to make everything super easy and convenient for them!”

Men wear stylish suits on their wedding day from Suits Unlimited, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Trendy, luxe, and timeless mens attire in blue suits in Albuquerque New Mexico for rooftop wedding at Hotel Parq Central, and in Kona, Hawaii at Fa…

I’m back again with the blog series and excited to introduce to you yet another of my favorite wedding vendors; Suits Unlimited!

When couples ask if I have recommendations for mens attire my answer is always the same; Suits Unlimited. Dominic and his groomsmen got their attire there for our wedding, and we’ve worked many weddings where the men are dressed impeccably by Suits Unlimited, so I can definitely speak from both sides of the experience! Time and time again they help men feel and look their best, and I’m here for it!

Their customer service is second to none, and they’re big proponents of "buy it today, get it tomorrow" with their speedy tailoring. (Last second grooms + groomsmen, I’m looking at you. They’ve gotcha covered. ;) Ha!)

One of the coolest parts?! They’ve been completely family owned and operated since the day they opened. People, they opened up shop back in 1971!!! That’s amazing! When Ashley emailed me with a bit more back story of the business my heart nearly burst! Turns out, her grandfather, Larry Garcia, started the business back in 1971 as Mr. Casual. It all began when he learned to sew and repair parachutists in the Marines when he was young, and before long he and his brothers ran three Mr. Casual stores in the 1970’s.  When the 80's came around and fashion shifted to suits, the three stores shifted as well and they consolidated to one store; Suits Unlimited.  They now have one location and three generations who help run it, and that’s just the coolest thing!

These days they love dressing men for all of their most important moments, including wedding day, and treating everyone that comes through the door as family. They say they’re looking forward to the more casual side of weddings and have seen a major shift in the wedding vibe in the last few years. They’re noticing more men wanting to wear suits instead of tuxes, or even more casual looks like suspenders and bow ties! They also get excited about the uniqueness that each wedding party brings, like adding funky socks as gifts or individualized neck wear.

“We are just a fun bunch of people who love what we do and making people happy!”, Ashley added… and I just couldn’t love them more!

So, here you have it friends - the inside scoop of my favorite place to get all your mens attire needs!

Hey friends! If you’re new around here - I’m Kayla. My husband, Dominic, and I are wedding photographers and absolutely love it. We also love to share the things in our lives that we enjoy and the things that keeps life simple so that we can spend time doing what we love most; exploring + making memories together.

We’ve built our business right here in Albuquerque, NM while building our family - but the state lines don’t hold us in. We love traveling to new places to photograph weddings, partner with Airbnb’s / Resorts, find new places to eat tacos (duh!), and a whole bunch of other fun stuff. If you’d like to chat about any of the above, holler! We’d love that! Until then, sending hugs!
