Sarah + Travis

Sarah and Travis have this incredible way about them - this love that shines through, and smiles that will warm your heart in an instant. Individually, they are wonderful. Sarah is kind, easy-going, and giggly. Travis is funny, wild, and charismatic. And together, they are strong, smitten, and completely made for each other.

As their day began the waves crashed against the sand below the ceremony, and Sarah and Travis both stayed calm and excited. Their family and friends gathered, and there, beneath the palm trees they said their promises to forever. Travis' brother officiated the ceremony, and told stories of their strength, and their perseverance through obstacles, and spoke for the crowd with love and support. As the day progressed the happiness continued, and family and friends danced the night away with the Bride and Groom, with maracas in hand. On the deck lit by string lights and the moon, surrounded by their sweetest loved ones, they celebrated their first night as Mr. + Mrs, and the beginning of so much to come.

Months ago Sarah sent me an email to chat about photographing their special day. In that email, she told me that she and Travis had met as children, as next door neighbors, fallen in love through the years, and were tying the knot with their closest family and friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico...and I fell in love with them instantly. I mean, how cute is that?? And Mexico? Yes! But, what I didn't realize at the time, was how much I would love them now. Everyone has returned home at this point, and the "real life" stuff is back in full swing -- but my heart is still exploding. Exploding from the love and the laughter, from the open arms and the big smiles, from the memories that will forever make me so happy. Exploding of thankfulness for the honor of capturing their gorgeous day, and their love story ... and for welcoming Dominic and I in, as one of their own! Being in Cabo is great, but being in Cabo with clients that have become to feel like family...that's incredible. The BIGGEST THANK YOU, to every one who made photographing our first international wedding absolutely wonderful.
