Wood Shop + Mountain Engagement | Albuquerque, NM | Ty + Lex

Oh my goodness friends, I am SO excited to share this sweet engagement session with you! First, let me tell you about Ty + Lex! Ty is Travis’ brother - and we photographed Travis and Sarah’s wedding day in Mexico a few years ago. Ty officiated, we all celebrated, and it was the best! We came home literally inviting ourselves into the family, ha, (you can read all about that and see their wedding day HERE) 🤣, and we love the Haguewoods so much! So when I got an email that Ty had met his special lady, Lex, I literally happy danced! And omg, you are gonna wanna hear this cute story!! You ready?!

Last fall Ty and Lex both had friends and family convince them to get onto a dating app on the same weekend. Ty was in Albuquerque, and Lex was visiting Denver - but after some math figuring out where she should put her “circle of home base”… the app matched them. They were each other’s first and last message on the app… YOU GUYS! Later that week they met up for coffee, and chatted the day away! After a couple dates they quickly realized they were both smitten!

They’re getting married this summer and WE CAN’T WAIT to be there! They’re building benches for the ceremony in the shop behind their house, and it was so fun to start the engagement session there with their cool projects and cute pups! And a little stroll to the mountains - and these two completely melted my heart. They’re so full of sweetness and giggles, and I know their special day is going to be so much fun!!!
